Olivette is located in St. Louis County (the “County”) approximately 10 miles west of downtown St. Louis.  The City covers approximately 2.95 square miles in St. Louis County and is within a Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The City is a suburban residential community with an economic base represented by a mixture of manufacturing, commercial enterprises, numerous small specialty shops, and support services.
