STL Rent A Box and University of Missouri-St. Louis!
Last month, Co-owner, Stacy Isermann was honored with the opportunity to speak on behalf of STL Rent A Box at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Stacy is an Alumni of UMSL and former employee of the Center for Trauma Recovery. She was invited by Professor Janet Murray, Desmond Lee Professor for Developing Women Leaders and Entrepreneurs in International Business and Professor of Marketing, to speak on her adventures in entrepreneurship! Stacy of course was more than happy to present and be part of the classroom experience. She announced “It was a thrill to be on the “other” side of the desk sharing my experiences once as an Academic, then Staff member of the University, and now as an Entrepreneur. UMSL has provided me with volumes of education and skills necessary to propel STL Rent A Box to be successful!”
Stacy gave the class an outlook of what it was like to start a business as a start-up and the options available to them from the local community. Using her business, STL Rent a Box, as a model she was able to present the importance of what an entrepreneur must face during each phase of a business as well. From a student’s perspective, Stacy gave them resources that are available to them now that could help propel future endeavors or networking that would fit any potential career they wish to form. She explained the foundation that is important for them to follow in order to be successful and unique in the business world.

“Your experiences truly mold you even when you don’t know your future. I’m thankful for everyone who took time to invest in me, believe in me, educate me and present opportunities to me!” ~Stacy Isermann
