It touched our hearts today that six area businesses in the St. Louis and St. Charles counties together participated with STL Rent a Box to sponsor a toy drive to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities at the West County McDonald House. Over the last several weeks, supporters of these businesses donated new toys to be distributed to children and their siblings who are staying at the house this Christmas season.

“We provide the House, and you help make it a home. With donations such as yours, we are able to offer a warm, home-like atmosphere where families can eat, sleep, watch TV or just relax while their child receives care at a local hospital. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Metro St. Louis provides a home-away-from-home for 59 families who stay in one of the three St. Louis Houses each night, and average of 80 local and out-of-town families who use the three Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in St. Louis hospitals every day. Without your donation, we would not be able to provide a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children. Gifts like yours help families focus on what really matters – their sick child.
